Standard MDF board – a thin, lightweight MDF sheet for joinery, furniture making, shopfitting and DIY. Ideal for drawer bases, cabinet backing panels, signage, display work, craft projects, templates and laser cutting.

Made from compressed wood fibres bonded with resin, standard MDF (medium density fibreboard) has a smooth, flat surface and a dense, uniform core with no knots or grain. It cuts, drills, routes and machines cleanly with crisp edges, and takes primer and paint exceptionally well for a flawless painted finish. It can also be veneered, laminated or wrapped. Suitable for interior use in dry conditions.

Use a fine-toothed blade for clean cuts, wear suitable dust protection when cutting or sanding, and seal edges before painting for the smoothest finish.
