Flexi-ply bending plywood – a flexible plywood sheet for creating curved shapes in joinery, shopfitting and furniture making. Ideal for curved furniture, reception desks, bar fronts, curved walls and bulkheads, columns, arches, shopfitting and exhibition displays, speaker cabinets and skate ramps.

Flexible plywood (bending ply) is made from specially selected veneers that allow the sheet to bend into smooth curves without cracking, while remaining strong once fixed. Build up thickness by laminating several sheets over a former, then veneer, laminate, paint or finish as required. Available in long grain and short grain versions, with the grain running parallel to either the long or the short edge of the sheet, so you can choose the orientation that suits your curve. Thinner sheets achieve tighter bends; thicker sheets give a more rigid curved panel.

Plan curves before cutting, and use a fine-toothed blade for clean edges.
